Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on November 18 the 18th of November, 1985, at Los Angeles. Her father Paul Felix is an ordained minister of the Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. And her mother Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix displayed an early talent to play sports while studying at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Her sprinting talent at that moment. Following her initial audition and placing within the top two places at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships in the 200-meter sprint in only 10 weeks. Felix graduated from high school and subsequently signed an official contract to Adidas. In 2004 she was enrolled at an institution called the University of Southern California, which is where she studied elementary education. Felix was presented with her first Olympic medal at the 2004's Summer Olympics in Athens Greece. Felix ran 200 meters in 22.18s and set a new junior world record. The year 2005 was the time she was the youngest 200-meter world champion at the Helsinki World Championships. She was able to defend her title in 2007 beating her former Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix competed in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and has consistently ranked in the top three of athletes at her particular events.
