Brooke Christa Shields (born May 31 1965) is a famous American model and actress. When she was 12, she began her career as a model for children. She won critical acclaim for her role in Louis Malle’s 1978 film Pretty Baby (1978). She continued modeling into her teenage yearsand was recognized for her performance in Louis Malle's 1978 film Pretty Baby. Shields had a few film roles and returned to acting in the 1990s. She also starred in the NBC sitcoms Suddenly Susan (1996-2000), which earned her two Golden Globe nominations, and Lipstick Jungle (2008-2009). Shields was back on NBC in 2017 to reprise her role as a major recurring character in Law & Order: Special Victims Unified's 19th season. Shields plays Beverly Goodman in Adult Swim's animated series Mr. Pickles since 2014. Brooke Christa Shields is a New Yorker born on May 31st, 1965 in Manhattan. She is the daughter of businessman Frank Shields (1941-1903). According to William Addams Reitwiesner's research, Shields is related to several noble families from Italy, particularly from Genoa and Rome. These are namely (in chronological order of descent from 1355 to 1965) the Gattilusi-Palaiologos-Savoy, Grimaldi, Imperiali, Carafa, Doria, Doria-Pamphili-Landi, Chigi-Albani, and Torlonia dynasties. Marina Torlonia di Civitella Cisi is Civitella Cisi was an Italian noblewoman, and daughter of an American prince is Teri's paternal grandmother. Her great-uncle, Alessandro Torlonia, an Italian nobleman, was the husband of Infanta Beatriz who was born in Spain. Teri was paid an amount from the family of Frank to end the pregnancy.
